In my second week at home I started to run out of things in my cupboard.
I couldn't afford groceries because I was saving up for my next trip to Sturgis, so I
had to resort to an old favorite. Connoisseurs the world over have sampled
this Delicious concoction and sighed with delight at its simplicity and boldness
of flavor. Enjoy...
Dash's Spaghetti
1/2 bag extra wide egg noodles
1 cup margarine
1 bottle of Heinz Tomato Ketchup (only Heinz will do, not Hunt's. Hunt's is crap. Generic is even worse, although, in a pinch, when stranded overseas, any ketchup will do. Still, Heinz will give you the best flavor.)
Boil noodles for 8-10 minutes in a 3qt. pot.
Strain noodles, but do not rinse. Put them back in the pot.
Add margarine, mix thoroughly, the heat of the noodles should melt the margarine
rather quickly.
Add Ketchup to taste, although a good ratio is equal parts margarine equal
parts Ketchup.
Sit back and enjoy.
